Anyway, I won't go into great detail lest I pull a "dooce" but...

I sent some "Application Data" off to our MIS department to be uploaded. I used to work in MIS and there is still a bit of resentment between me and the woman who still works there now, so whenever I send something over there I expect a dose of back lash or crankiness, but today the bar has been raised. I found my data stuff back in my mailbox with this scribbled crudely on a post-it note:

"Application data can't be entered without these information. Access. Rejected."

I think she was going for "access denied" but came out with "access rejected" It just cracked me up. What a cranky little note, but the gems of grammatical error and wrong word choice can not be made up! I hung the nasty post-it up in my cubicle. Sometimes you have to laugh or you would cry your eyes out working here.
