Remodeling (take 2)
You may or may not have noticed that there have been a few changes made here in Verbosity Land. I updated my blog roll and broke them into categories. I hope you like it. If not, let me know so I can make fun of you in my next post.
On a completely separate note:
Recently I was exposed to a couple very good, very professional photo blogs. This has of coarse made me want to start one of my own as I consider myself an aspiring photographer, but as in every aspect of my life I have a few reservations. First, my pictures are pretty amateur, they really don't compete with what I have seen out there. Also, I have a terrible habit of starting things and not following through. Especially when it comes to hobbies, which a photo blog would inevitably become since I will need to be snapping photos all the time to get any shots worth posting. Here is a brief list of hobbies I started all gung-ho and very quickly lost interest in:
painting bird houses
learning to play the mandolin
carving sculptures out of marble
advanced coloring
knitting
I am sure Hubby could add more to this list if asked. So you can see that this is a pattern of behavior of mine so these days I try to not even start such undertakings so I don't feel guilty about stopping. Also, how many blogs is too many? I already have this gem of a blog to maintain and there is also my husband's baseball blog that I plan on posting to occasionally to balance out his Yankee hating/Pro Red Sox propaganda that he insists on spewing all over the place. I am afraid a 3rd blog will cause every other one to suffer. Despite my misgivings I have come up with a title: Foe-Toe-Blah-G. I think it is pretty clever, but something tells me that I am the only one. I guess I need to let this one tumble around in my noggin a little longer if it's still there in a few weeks then I might get things rolling. Perhaps I could just post more pictures here and make this a combo type thing. But what about my cool title? I could always sell it on ebay I suppose.
